Spell Check Suggestion FAIL

epic fail photos - Spell Check Suggestion FAIL

KUALA LUMPUR – Previously, Mynewshub.my had published an article regarding claims of a few blogs that mentioned a service apartment, Lanson Place Ambassador Row Residences in Jalan Ampang Hilir is the scene where a sex video allegedly involving the leader of opposition with a prostitute was recorded on February.

In unveiling the truth, our journalist, Zamzukhairi Noordin went to the apartment this morning.

A few of the employees had confirmed the presence of groups of police at the residency on Thursday and Friday.

One of the employees told that the Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) came along with a few journalists and they head to a spa that is operating in the building, and they also had checked the closed-circuit television (CCTV) there.

“There were quite a lot of people present that day, there were about 10 police officers which was followed by a few journalists had came to this place to cover the story,” said the employee who wished to remain anonymous.

To get to the bottom of it, Mynewshub.my had contacted a blogger from the blog APANAMA which is one of the earliest blogs that had claimed that Lanson Place as the scene of sex video.

He also held on the to entry which he had made on Friday (25th March) which had stated that the PDRM had ran an investigation at Lanson Place for two days in a row since Thursday.

Explaining further, he said that PDRM also had sent a forensic team to the apartment on the purpose investigation on a sex video that is linked to the opposition leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, two days ago.

However, Lanson Place’s management had denied an interview and stated that they had known nothing regarding any investigation that was done by PDRM at the service apartment.

“There was no investigation, we don’t know anything, even if any police did come to this this place, it’s just a routine,” said the manager in charge by the name of En. Jamal.

He also explained that the management has nothing to do with the management of Sompo Spa which is operating there considering that the company is renting the premise.

The spa, which then later contacted, denied any presence of police officers at the premise to run any sort of investigation regarding the sex video.

A sex video was exposed by chains of “Datuk T” to a few journalists last Monday at Carcosa Sri Negara which had claimed that the man in the video was Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar however denied the claim and later lodged a police report upon the expose of the video and described that it was part of higher government’s conspiracy.

Sexiest In Malaysia : #1 Fasha, #2 Rozita

KUALA LUMPUR – The talented actress that never runs out of controversy, Fasha Sandha was dubbed as the sexiest Malaysian artist based on votes that was done by Harian Metro through their official website, Mymetro, which had started on 7th March.

Other than Fasha who was hit by controversies such as her pictures in bikini during her vacation in Bali, Indonesia a little while back, other artists that was in the list of ’5 Sexiest Artists’ are Rozita Che Wan, Zila Bakarin, Rabecca Nur and Jue Aziz.

According to http://www.hmetro.com.my, candidates for the list involved 29 female local celebrities and since the chart was made, the response that received from fans and readers are good with 2000 votes received.

On the first week of the chart, it was lead by Rozita Che Wan. But Fasha turned the table on the second week when she leads other artists with the gap of 14.76 per cent until two days ago, stated the site.

The position in the chart would always change, but no one has managed to pass through the star in films such as Anak Halal and Evolusi KL Drift.

Rozita is in close second and the difference is not that far apart. As for now, Rozita had received 10.31 per cent, only 4.45 per cent behind Fasha.

Rozita is the only divorcee among the top five candidates that are in the chart.

It’s quite shocking that Rebecca Nur Al Islam is at the forth seat among the girls despite of being married to an entrepreneur, this shows that her popularity is still yet to go down.

Of getting laid, lies and liars

Anwar's (o)mega opportunity. I wrote in my column in the Paper That Cares Of Sex, Lies and Politicians (24 March, 2011) that "this is not the first time Malaysia has been rocked by a sex video scandal involving prominent politicians". We've been on this road before. Twice before. Chua Soi Lek, who was also a victim, resigned and then made one of the most spectacular comebacks in Malaysia's political history!

In the so-called Anwar sex video scandal, the ball is now in the court of the three men who called themselves Dato T, to prove the video in their possesion is authentic and not a hideous attempt to bring down an enemy.
If the video was indeed doctored as claimed by Anwar and loyalists like Nik Nazmi, the three must be charged and sent to jail.
If it's authentic, well, life will still move on and Malaysians know it.
They will probably not discount the possibility of a comeback. Or, at least some of them won't rule it out.
Anwar has a great opportunity here to make an even more spectacular comeback than CSL. All he needs to do, as Soi Lek himself has stated, is to prove that he is NOT the man in the sex video. So eeeeasy. Reformasi failed before and it will be harder to make it work this time. Please don't squander this opportunity like he did on the DNA issued.
In my posting I am Not Male Y, I wrote:
This is Anwar's best chance to prove to all that he is not "Male Y" and that he is a victim of conspiracy, indeed. All he needs to do is volunteer his own DNA sample and let the truth finally prevail.
His coterie of advisers, however, had advised him against volunteering. They also advised Anwar to fight tooth and nail against the prosecution's attempt to get the judge in the Sodomy ll case to compel Anwar to give his DNA sample. I thought that it was bad advice. I think Anwar is being ill-advised.
p.s. In case you're wondering, the picture above shows an Omega watch BUT not the one that Wan Aziz is allegedly keeping for her husband, h e r e. No I don't have an Omega but if could, I would like to have this one. Because it's close to orange.

Sex video: Political battle lines drawn

PERMATANG PAUH: The political battle line between Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat, or specifically between Umno and PKR, has been drawn over the sex video, allegedly featuring PKR supremo Anwar Ibrahim.

While BN sets the argument that the main question over the sex video was to verify its authenticity, Pakatan’s argument is on whether the main actor was Anwar or not.

In the immediate future, both parties are surely expected to go to town with their respective cases, hoping to mould the voters’ mind to a particular perception.

This was evident from the arguments aired by Pakatan leaders during a PKR-organised road show themed “Siapa Dalang Fitnah” (Who were behind the lies) to counter the sex video scandal in Anwar’s parliamentary constituency Permatang Pauh last night.

“It’s not about whether the video was genuine or doctored.

“It’s all about whether it was Anwar or not.

“I believe that the person in the tape was not Anwar . . . I am sure about that,” thundered PKR’s fiery orator Badrul Hisham Shaharin when concluding the rally before some 2,000 people who braved heavy rain.

Badrul, or better known as Chegu Bard, has seen the sex clips twice continuously in Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

He was shown the tape by former Malacca Chief Minister and Risda (Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority) chairman Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik, businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and another unidentified person.

Yesterday Prime Minister and Umno president Najib Tun Razak said the core question over the sex tape was whether the tape was authentic or not, because if it was genuine, a sin had been committed.

Johari’s four reasons

Earlier at the rally, Sungai Petani MP and PKR parliamentary deputy whip Johari Abdul, who had also viewed the video, insisted that the actor was definitely not Anwar.

“I can swear upon my late parents, it was not him (Anwar),” he said.

He gave four reasons to affirm his belief.

“The male actor has a belly, fair complexion, muscular and has more flesh on his bottom.

“All these are not features of Anwar,” he said.

In his address, DAP secretary general Lim Guan Eng insisted that only persons of high esteem, not Rahim or MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek, should talk about political moral virtues.

He took a swipe at Najib for suggesting that Umno was not behind the latest sex scandal that had caught fire across the country.

“Rahim is an Umno member and Risda chairman.

“Umno still not involved?” he asked to the avidly responsive crowd,

Unlike the interrupted Friday night rally in Taman Melawati, Gombak, the Permatang Pauh rally went on smoothly despite rain and police massive blockade in all main roads leading to the venue.

The police checks caused massive traffic congestions along the roads.

The star of the show

The star of the show was of course parliamentary Opposition Leader Anwar, who surprisingly did not touch much on the sex video.

He had left the job to clear his name and image to his comrades like Chegu Bard and Johari.

But of course the Permatang Pauh favourite son was at his fiery best taking pot shots at Umno and Najib in particular.

Pointing out that Islamic law severely punishes conspirators and liars, he warned Najib and company to be wary about being the perpetuators behind the latest sex allegation against him.

“Najib is the main man behind the sex video conspiracy. I will defy if he denies it,” he said.

Like a tribal king rallying his subject for a battle, Anwar called on his constituents to rally behind him to maintain and strengthen Permatang Pauh as PKR’s impregnable fortress.

Anwar also looked determined to strike out the latest sexual allegations.

Based on the undercurrent sentiments, he may have gained an upper hand in this issue.

Perhaps the video may have given the impetus to revitalise and rejuvenate Anwar, who appears to be out of sorts in recent months, perhaps due to the taxing Sodomy ll trial.

On last night’s show, it was obvious that Permatang Pauh folks are still strongly behind their tribal king.

Currently their most famous son appears to be edging out in this political perception game, at least in Permatang Pauh.

Sex video: Anak asks Agong to step in

SEREMBAN: The National Felda Settler Children’s Association (Anak) has asked the Yang Dipertuan Agong to interfere in the controversy surrounding a video that allegedly shows opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim engaging in unlawful sex.

The association’s president, Mazlan Aliman, said the King should use his authority as the nation’s head of Islam to put a stop to such slanders because they could mislead Muslims.

He made the call outside the Seremban police headquarters after lodging a report against Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and other confessed promoters of the video, accusing them of violating the Censorship Act and the Penal Code. Accompanying him was Negeri Sembilan PAS commissioner Zulkefly Mohamad Omar.

“This is a conspiracy to humiliate Anwar Ibrahim and his family,” he told reporters. “The behavior of the three individuals who showed the video to the media is totally against the teachings of Islam.

“The police also must act against Shazryl for trying to blackmail Anwar and his wife to force them to step down as leaders of PKR.”

Mazlan also took former Malacca chief minister Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik to task, accusing him of abusing his current position as Risda chairman to book the hotel room where the video was shown to media representatives.

“He has admitted that he booked the room under the name of Risda,” he said.

“This is clearly an abuse of power. If he wants to play politics, then he should quit as the chairman of Risda.”

In his report, Mazlan also told the police to ascertain whether de facto law minister Mohd Nazri Aziz had broken the law for stating that the screening of the video to the media was legal.

BN local leaders against gutter politics

GEORGE TOWN: Two Barisan Nasional (BN) grassroots leaders have called for fellow politicians to have a high degree of conscience when they deal with the people following the emergence of a sex tape scandal.

The issue has caused widespread anxiety among the people about the quality and credibility of Malaysian politicians from both sides of the divide, an Umno divisional leader said.

The leader who preferred not to be named due to the sensivities of the issue, said the only way forward in this country is for Malaysian politicians to be driven by their conscience instead of political mileage or monetary gain.

“Malaysians have an abundant number of technocrats as the education system continues to thrive and produce an educated group of leaders. Now, they must not only rely on knowledge but their conscience.”

An educated society is no longer willing to tolerate half-truths or slander- they want the pursue of truth, transparency and justice to be a cornerstone of any government besides ensuring that a quality of life prevails in this globalised age, the leader said.

A 22-minute black and white sex tape purportedly shows a man resembling opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim having sex with an unidentified woman with Oriental features at a hotel room.

The tape filmed using CCTV technology, was exposed to some members of the media but has since being met with a string of rebuttals from PKR and by some members who claimed to have seen it.

Anwar has also denied that he was the individual in the tape.

Due process not respected

On another hand, others who saw it including Kita president Zaid Ibrahim have stated that the person strongly resembles Anwar with the former calling for an independent commission to conclude whether the footage is authentic.

Two individuals have since come forward to claim they are behind the screening of the tape, as it is part of their fervant hope that they could expose the true nature of Anwar’s character who is allegedly a morally corrupt person with poor leadership skills.

The duo are entrepreneur Shazryl Eskay Abdullah, former Malacca Chief Minister Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik while former Sungai Petani Umno division head Shuaib Lazim was also linked to the issue.

The Umno leader who is a staunch supporter of veteran Umno leader Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, agrees with Zaid’s call for a transparent and hasten mode of investigation into the alleged scandal.

He said Zaid has a strong point in seeking for an independent commission, which involves foreign and impartial video forensic experts to ascertain who were in the sex tape.

However, he disputes the mannerism involved in releasing the content, saying the due process of the law was not respected while those involved were not transparent initially, giving rise to a belief some quarters were duped into smearing Anwar’s reputation in public.

“In the eyes of the court, it remains unresolved, as there is a need to pronounce prima facie (beyond reasonable doubt) but in the eyes of the public court, they are now contending that Anwar was fixed up.”

Doubts within BN

A state MIC grassroots leader Dr B Anthony said leaders must understand that their conscience naturally tingles if they do wrong.

“You can cheat or mislead others but you cannot cheat yourself. If you continue with a lie, your self-esteem would be low.”

Anthony who is the Jalan P Ramlee MIC branch head, said tainted politicians should also refrain from commenting or further involvement in the issue as it can enrage people even more.

“Just allow the truth to emerge and people can then make their conclusions, Right now, even BN supporters have their doubts since there exist a dubious manner over how sex tape was managed,” he said.
