Ticking Off For Missing Watch
The tragic death of TBH is still turning up surprised even after an inquest!
How did the inquest miss the missing watch?
And why was the missing clock not mentioned till now?
And then no print and got print?
The RCI may have been wrongly prejudged to be bias but so far they have turned out some interesting unknown information to light.
Which points to the rather sloppy work of the investigation people. Perhaps they didn't think the case was important and that a Minister had already concluded even without investigation that he decided to jump and commit suicide.
Even if he was due to get married or if he was afraid his death must be so cheap over a minuscule amount that may at worst embarrass his boss. It is not that the DAP people is going to be rocked by the so called corruption or they having been through enough of even worst situation. accusation and smear campaigns!
Took such a long time, pun intended, that the missing watch is now being brought up. But one isn't sure if finding it would indicate the time of death? Noone is sure is the watch is broken. Find the missing watch and you may unlock answers to TBH's death no? Perhaps more revealing that the supposedly 'suicide' note!
What will the RCI unearth next. Wit supposedly conflicting answers to even a footprint in question, it would not be surprising that the earlier inquest of 'open verdict' may be the verdict? Even in the Sun's interview today, when asked about public perception in politically-charged cases, the CJ view's were "For example the Teoh Beng Hock case, to me, under those circumstances, it has to be open verdict. You cannot go out and say somebody is guilty. But thats the thing, we dont interfere, you decide." (SUN, Feb 24, 2011)
If learned people can't decided based on the evidence, how do you expect the family to find closure or the public to believe in the professionalism of the investigation process or the people handling the case! As someone remarked, 'ope! n verdic t' means he is neither dead or alive is it? So where is he? But he's dead and probably the open verdict is TBH's trying to tell us all something beyond the grave.
Now a PI is going to be hired and it would be interesting what other evidences or contradictory or even concurring findings the PI will be able to uncover
So is the family right in withdrawing? Some may feel they are afraid to uncover the truth that he did the unthinkable. Their withdrawal does show that the public doubts even the integrity of those whose profession is to find out the truth. It indirectly points to how much faith some portion of the public has lost faith in institutions that are supposed to stand or fight for justice.
Are we missing something from the missing watch? Even if the watch is never found, the investigation processes seem to be carried out in a lacklustre manner. It could also infer the AG's office and people are as lacklustre as the investigation people! This is not an ordinary case and the public wonders if justice will ever be given to those who are nobody's or the level of investigation is dependent on one's status, no? Are some stones better be left unturned than no stones left unturned?
Already the inquest and those involved in it, nearly brought it on par to the A-S case of comedy of errors or rather a circus show. Let's hope the RCI won't stand such nonsense and will do things to help it gain credibility and impartiality, which are quite lacking these days in BolehLand.
Will TBH gets his justice finally if the verdict turned out it was suicide? Is the RCI finding the final nail to this episode. The justice system has wrongly accused innocent people and this is not unique to BolehLand. But if the 'evidence' is not conclusive, can we even return a verdict at all based on assumptions.
As a forensic expert in the A-S case refuse to answer something speculative, and there seem so much speculation in the TBH case, let's hope the RCI does not return a 'Agree and disagree' ve! rdict of how TBH hide. That would be a tragedy to the family.
Someone remarked about why high profile cases are sometimes never resolved. "Either the suspect(s) was/were never involved in the first place, or those who are involved have perfected the game of 'I scratch your back and you scratch mine'! Agree or Disagree, huh?
