PKR God Sent
"If anwar is god sent, why is he being persecuted after being thrown out of his haven that has an address named 'UMNO'?" was my reply to a fren asking for views reading that he is 'god sent' to PKR.
One can't be certain why the often rational minded Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail chose to declare that her hubby the defacto PKR leader Anwar chose to make a rather outrageous declaration that her hubby is a 'god-sent' leader.
Either the God's must be crazy as opponents will surely now use this declaration a comic material to further poke fun at the seemingly decreasing potency of PKR as a threat to UMNO and BN in GE13.
Or, the PKR fellos are following the practice of thhose who invoke god to rekindle their fledging power or prove their innocence to convince ordinary rural folks and their members they are some special chosen godly fello!
It is also copycating the tradition of man who think themselves pharoahs and caesars conferred with godly status and endowed with godly power that the subject must pay hormage to them with the aim to really continue to retain their control and power over the subjects!
In modern times, it's simply a form of vote buying to simpletons perhaps. But to most level headed and rationale Bolehland fellos such 'god sent' affirmation will only remind people of the 'devil' in the god suit that any godly aura that that fellos is supposedly being made to posses.
Perhaps PKR is turning to god as a desperate attempt to shore up support for the mess and shakey political foundation that is happening in PKR now.
With slightly over half the hall filled up or eligible delegates present at their congress, it hardly makes sense to most members and some may surely shudder in horror in their seats hearing such pronouncement.
After all, the PKR leaders have often ridiculed the other side for using the name of God in vain to prove one's innocence or making God their convenient scapegoat when roof leaks or infrastructure cracks or fails!
Oddly th! ey didn' t think it haram when their green partner declared those who did not vote for them have sinned against God!
Noone denies that her hubby has faced and is still facing so many challenges a big part his own doing really. But making him some kind of living marthy hasn't gotten the people to rally behind him to believe he is a victim of conspiracies that 'stink to the heavens.'
Perhaps because truth in BolehLand is really hard to decipher. Rumours are given more credence that supposed 'truths, facts and statistics!' Perhaps it has to do largely with institutions such as the judiciary, MSMedia and those responsible to enforce justice or seen to be just in carrying out their responsibilities, who many times have ruled, said and acted in a matter that makes a mockery of what 'truth' or event 'facts' and 'justice' is about or stands for.
Even if we are told that everything is a matter of perception, it depends on how you can manipulate others to give up their individual perception to see things your way, hence your hold on your 'truth, fact' triumphs over your oppenents.
So there are those who believe in PKR's and its defacto leader as God's sent and will keep the stuggle on. There are many sceptics too who feel if he is god sent, why does he need God's help to save him from all the woes he is inflicted with. Unless God is abandoning his own kind or he is a mere mortal who brought those troubles upon himself.
PKR or rather azizah should have used a better platform to repair his troubled PKR house than to resort to putting a halo and giving the defacto leader angelic wings to unite the different factions. Is it becoz of this 'godly' status anwar is made to be, he doesn't need to put himself to the test before his members for a leadership post, huh?
Typical of us, create our own mess, then seek God's help!
Given, the supposedly mess and impending implosion in PKR and its leaders being really hopeless and helpless to save the party, maybe thet do really need god's hel! p. But c ertainly that god sent fello being anwar is a big Q! including for the nation too!
Azizah and PKR may believe anwar is god sent, but the people will be the judge of that, no? After all, in the history of religion and God, there have many who declared themselves or bestowed as god sent. And man has reacted differently.
And if we believe the age of new God's have ended about 2000 or so years ago, and saints are hard to come by this modern times, it is really useless and seen as a desperate attempt try and invoke god's help to get you out of your own mess, right?
Isn't it rather sarilege these days to equate any man as God sent or God annointed or it is still valid because we have declared ourselves a holy nation? If we are a holy nation that may explain how politicians have no qualms using the name of God in vain for their self vested interest no?
