Indeed, health care has plunged in quality
From Lum KK, via e-mail
I'm a retired government servant, and while still working five years ago, I used the services of Universitry Hospital (UH).At that time, the doctor prescribed the painkiller Celecoxib and I could get it for free (no payment) at UH pharmacy.
For past few years, I have not used UH's services as I worked for private company, utilising its medical benefits. I recently retired and returned to the UH. The doctor prescribed Celecoxib, but now I have to buy it from pharmarcy, and later claim the expenses fom the Pensions' department.
I spoke to several pensioners at the UH pharmarcy and just a medical solution (for the eye) cost them RM30 for one month's use. That simply means that non-pensioners of the government service have to suffer.
