However, no action can be taken because the KPF by-laws do not have any provision to cancel his membership, a three-member MCCC panel ruled last week. "Hence, Isa's membership in KPF remains intact," the panel ruled. It said that the KPF board's acceptance of Isa's membership was against the cooperative's by-laws. This means that Isa, a former long-serving menteri besar of Negeri Sembilan, can stay on as KPF chairperson. The panel made its decision on May 23, following an application challenging Isa's membership in KFP filed by Abdul Talib Ali and 15 other KPF members.
