Must stealing and robbing be low tech ?

Anyone with a brain weight more than an ounce will know Mamak steals and robs you mostly through such entertprises like Tolls, IPPs, and of course uncountable number of other shits created created by the Mamak Tongkang Kerala ... Pronto, Petronas, Perwaja, MSC ... (you need about 5 GB of disk space to complete the list).

So, how to speak proudly of things like that ... ? Of course can. Just look at Mamak, he is still telling you Pronton is good for you. So far, only his dick buys that ... his own Botak son also shakes head.

Question: Do stealing and robbing have to be so low tech ?

PM shies away from talk of power tariff hikes

KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 — Datuk Seri Najib Razak refused to comment on today’s power tariffs review by his administration, even as speculation of a coming hike in electricity rates continues to build.

The prime minister instead said he would “see first” what the final electricity tariff review will contain.

“We will see first. I cannot say anything. Those are reports so it is up to them (to report on the speculation),” he told reporters during a press conference here.

“Many people do not really understand that this (subsidy rationalisation study) is not about reducing subsidies but about reducing the rate of increase in subsidies because subsidies will continue to be given but they are increasing from RM11 billion to about RM20 billion,” he was quoted saying by the Reuters news agency.

“This means we have to find an estimated additional RM8 billion, not a small amount.”

Putrajaya is still finalising a review on power tariffs and will make an announcement in the near future, the energy ministry said today.

The National Economic Council convened today to discuss the issue, but the ministry’s statement failed to provide further details.

The government today also moved to allay fears of a steep rise in electricity tariffs, with Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed saying that while an eventual increase was necessary, it would be done in stages.

With the government warning that the subsidy bill could double to RM21 billion this year, price increases are expected to hit the market soon.

Yesterday, Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin said the Cabinet had directed the National Economic Council to meet today to decide on a revision to the electricity tariff, fuelling speculation that energy prices will be targeted for a hike now that fuel subsidies are set to be maintained.

The Najib administration plans to cut the budget deficit to 5.4 per cent this year, after reducing it to 5.6 per cent last year.

The deficit had stood at a two-decade high of seven per cent in 2009 after the government pumped RM67 billion in stimulus packages to counter the effects of a global financial crisis.
