Monyet King says indelible ink unsatisfactory, recommends more secure method

Batang Berjuntai, 5 Jan. The proposal by the Elections Commission to use indelible ink to prevent electoral fraud has been shot down by HRH Monyet King, who cited procedural loopholes and health concerns. HRH Monyet King (or MK as he is fondly called), a blogger and the owner of the largest banana plantation in the world, told journalists at a press conference today that the use of the indelible ink is not fool proof and could lead to other problems.
"I agree with Ibrahim Ali. We are going backward by using the indelible ink", said MK.
"You see, even if the EC people apply the indelible ink on the voter's finger, that person can still vote again. In fact, he can vote a total of 10 times. Very simple lah.. every time after he has voted, he just has to cut of the finger with the ink on it. Some people love their leader so much that they are willing to do this. So the ink won't be very helpful in preventing fraud", explained MK.
Some people may cut off their fingers in order to vote multiple times for their Great Leader
MK also spoke about health hazards from the indelible ink.
"A problem that I think we will face is the health hazard. Many Malaysians like to dig their nose and ears using their fingers. Now, if there is ink on the finger, the ink will get stuck inside their nose or ears and cause problems. They may get bacterial infection, blocked nose, cirit-birit, tuberculosis, etc. It is not very good for the health of the rakyat"
"Many Malaysians also use their fingers to wash their backsides after going to the toilet. There is a high chance that the indelible ink will get stuck on their backsides and cause problems. We have experienced this problem before. Just ask Saiful about this" said MK.
When asked about his proposal to prevent electoral fraud, MK said "I have been thinking about this for a long time. The only fool proof way is brand voters with a hot iron. Each branding iron can have the constituency identification like R for Rembau or P for Pasir Mas. Once a person has voted, the EC officials can brand him/her twice – once for the parliamentary seat, and once for the state seats. I know it will hurt a bit but it is only a small sacrifice for the betterment of our country".
MK added "however being a democratic country, we should give voters the three options of choosing where they want to be branded – on their back, on their chest or on their buttocks".

MNN has learnt that the EC is seriously considering MK's proposal.
