Sushi the abused dog — Sharon Logan
If this dog is dead, any legitimate and verifiable information of when, where and how. To the abusers, I say you will be found and justice will be served, whether by man, God, the higher powers, the spirits that be, whatever our religion teaches us in regards to karma.
To the authorities, I say get off your asses and do your job. My boyfriend is a US police officer and if you Malaysian police officers wanted to find the abusers you would have already, as all you have to do is check their IP address or is the value of the dog’s life meaningless? Not worth your time to investigate? As police officers you are there to help, it’s your duty as police officers to help two- or four-legged beings, any living breathing being!
To the people around the world who united and became a voice for one little dog that couldn’t speak for himself, thank you! Lastly please print my tribute to Sushi also. My cell phone number is 714-768-4969.
My tribute to Sushi:
I saw this beautiful boy with such a beautiful spirit and the most kind brown eyes. Sushi, beautiful boy, you are amazing and courageous and your plight has been made known around the world, you should be in a loving home surrounded with people who can bring you happiness and joy, your little tail should be wagging non-stop.
Know boy that there are many people trying to save you and give you a chance at happiness to love and be loved as it should be. Though I am saddened at the events that brought you and catapulted you into the viral world, I am also happy to see that so many people care enough to want to see you safe and have compassion and empathy for what you have endured and so many people from so many different countries working hard in unity to get you to safety!
Sushi, if you are still alive just please be strong boy and endure some more for there is light at the end of the dark tunnel for you. If you are not alive then know this world was not good enough for you and you are no longer suffering. Run free, no more fear and pain.

Animal lovers lodge police report over poodle abuse
PETALING JAYA: Several non-governmental organisations (NGO) lodged a police report against an unidentified man caught on video abusing his pet dog, a poodle.
The groups, consisting of Animal Rights Society (RAW), Malaysian Animal Welfare Society, Petpositive, Independent Living and Training Centre and Lawyers for Liberty lodged the report at the Dang Wangi police headquarters this morning.
The local daily had reported a widely circulated video in Facebook showing a tattooed man, believed to be a Malaysian, using physical force against his pet in an attempt to teach it some tricks.
The dog was seen to have been smacked violently whenever it failed to heed its master’s instructions.
The video sparked massive uproar among animal lovers in the social networking site, demanding the perpetrator to be arrested.
Speaking to FMT, Petpositive president, Anthony Thanasayan criticised the police and the Department of Veterinary Services for their inaction as the video had been in circulation for the past three days.
“The woman who was videotapping the torture is equally guilty as she did not stop the man. We demand the police to arrest both criminals,”said Thanasayan.
He called for the police to set up a task force to track the abusers as they are in clear violation of the Animal Act 2006.
“The authorities should act fast as the perpetrator may harm the dog as they would have known by now that their heinous act has been made public.
“If the police do not act within 24 hours, the we will apprehend them ourselves,”he said.
